I applied to a full time housekeeping position in February 2022. I completed the entire hiring process to begin working at the Grande Vista location. In the initial interview event, HR had forgotten to return me my photo ID. After almost three full days of orientation, my hiring status of onboarding was immediately changed to terminated because Stephanie in HR and Abby in the housekeeping department decided to just simply not care at all, dismiss what had occurred with my photo ID (and that it takes two weeks to receive a new one by mail), and essentially cancel me as a human being. Then, about a month later, I was contacted by someone in the organization to drive to the property for another interview, this time with a different manager and employee from the housekeeping department. At the interview, I was told I would be hired and to expect a phone call to begin training. I still have not heard from anyone, and it has been over a month now. The organization has cost me money in my personal resource, and failed to honor follow through. Marriot, I looked forward to this opportunity, but instead the experiences have been weird.

Im a Very Hard to Please Person when it comes to the Customer Service Industry their are so many times where today’s world no longer believes in providing Great Customer Service. But Once Again Marriott Has Proven to be the Leader in the Service industry of Hotels. My Dad Passed away and we had to come to Douglas Georgia to Plan his Furneral Service and I always dread to come to small towns to stay in a Hotel, because you never know what you will get. Since we are still in an Pandemic because of COVID-19 I’m very skeptical about stay in Hotels during this time. I was blow away buy the Great Customer Service Given by the Staff at this Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott in Douglas, Georgia. I Will be coming back to this Location and I expect the same Staff to be here when I come back. I’ve always been Team Marriott and I expect nothing less than the best experience ever. I felt like this was my home away from home in a very sad time. Thank you all for being their for me, it made things a lot more bearable knowing when I came home it was clean and a very relaxing atmosphere. Those who know me trust me when I rate and give reviews Good or Bad. So ask yourself do you want Great Service or Bad Service if you want Great Service Then you Should Stay at The Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott in Douglas, Georgia
