We had an excellent meal, the Southwest Steak soup was one of the best I've ever had. I also got the meatloaf with red eye gravy, Jill had the homemade chicken pot pie. We've been coming here for a long time, they never disappoint. We usually get the mac and cheese, which they are noted for, but we passed on it today. We should have gotten an order to go. Highly recommended!

Wow! This is one of the coolest places! The conversion from a church to a restaurant is amazing and the food is even better. I had a burger with their “roasters” (fries). And it was amazing. The bun was toasted to perfection, and the burger delicious and cooked perfectly. Our service was great and our waitress was so so nice. In addition, their profiteroles were delicious with the chocolate sauce and whipped cream. As well, their caramel creme brulee (the offical name I have forgotten) was delicious! Will definitely be coming again and recommend for anyone who likes a good burger.

As a former resident of Clarkston, I've waited over 8 years to experience the most amazing mac 'n cheese on planet earth again! Seriously, in my 70 years I've NEVER had better! Kurt, just as good as I remember! Well done one & all!

Honcho right next door (also a part of the Union Joints) allows pets on their patio. Honcho is very pet friendly, I can't see the Union would be different... unless its because of their patio size.

Kid rock does NOT own ANY of the Union joints. He frequents them because he loves the community and loves that he's treated with respect and dignity as opposed to fame seakers.
There are a few outdoor tables at the Woodshop, in the alley next to the building. Food is excellent. Fresh ingredients and attention to detail in everything they serve.

They have plain mac n cheese, Lobster Mac, & Mac with ham. They are pre prepared so you can't remove singular ingredients.
