Before I offer my review on Larson Educational Services it should be said that I did weeks of research on other companies offering licensing courses. There were so many bad and mixed reviews out there that it made it very difficult to make a decision on who to go with. With my schedule being so busy I wanted a self-study course that had an enrollment period long enough for me to comfortably learn the material on my own time. Most of the providers only offered 6 months enrollment which was a deal breaker for me. I wanted a full year just in case I got side tracked from my studies. Again after weeks of research I happened to stumble across the Larson website. They had just about everything I wanted and their reviews were very positive. After some careful consideration I decided to purchase the 63 Hour (Online Instructor-Led) Sales Associate Pre-License Course and there is no doubt I made the right choice. As soon as I made my purchase, I made a phone call requesting that they send me the workbook. They were extremely friendly and put the workbook in the mail the very same day so it only took a day or so to get it. The workbook was formatted quite well and was extremely helpful while viewing the videos making the learning process much easier. As for the videos themselves, I was very impressed. All of the instructors were very pleasant, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. They all were dressed well which further represented their professionalism. Each and every instructor was well spoken, and clear in their instruction. Being able to pause, rewind, and have unlimited playback of the videos was a huge plus for me in choosing this course. If I were to be nitpicky, the only complaint on the videos is that from time to time they would slip focus which I found a little annoying but it did not distract from my learning. Next time you folks update the videos try having your camera operator turn off auto focus. That was clearly where the issue was. But again this is just me being nitpicky. Overall, the videos were great. Needless to say, I breezed through the 63 hour course and aced the final course exam. Because I only wanted to take the state exam once, I decided to go ahead and purchase the optional Sales Associate STATE EXAM PREP course. After I completed my purchase I once again phoned them and asked them to mail me the workbook and again they did not disappoint. They put the workbook in the mail the very same day. After completing the very well laid out State Exam Prep course, I immediately scheduled with PearsonVUE to take the state exam. I was nervous I admit and I made sure to take my time to read every question as many times as I needed to understand it and I also checked and double checked my answers. 3 ½ hours is plenty of time to complete the state exam. There is absolutely no reason to feel pressured. I completed the exam in a little over two hours and in case you are wondering, I PASSED the state exam on the first try. I have my license in hand and I’m now interviewing brokers. I could not be more pleased with my choice to go with Larson Educational Services and I will definitely be purchasing the Post-Licensing 45 hour Sales Associate course from them in the next few days so I can go ahead and complete that State requirement . I did the online Instructor Led Pre-Licensure Real Estate course and I passed the pre-licensure exam with flying colors. The teachers are fantastic, specifically Dave Larson. Dave has ALL the memory hacks to cement new words, phrases and calculations into your head. This course is worth every penny, and I would recommend to anyone looking to obtain their real estate license!

Excellent educational experience!! Larson and the online classroom version offered a learning tool to fit my time and needs. Going through life as a person with dyslexia, differentiated learning tools were not alway available and the online course allowed me to review items as needed. I ultimately pass the first time with 94%. Thank you Larson Educational Services!!
