The manager Lee was nothing shy of amazing! It was crazy seeing all the reviews of how well she is with customers and thinking maybe it was a lie. I am here to confirm that it is not! We came while it was pouring rain and she made her way to our truck with her umbrella to make sure we did not get soaked. Upon walking in her customer service was filled with jokes and great hospitality. Throughout the process she was upfront with all of the information and made sure we understood how everything works. The best part was we thought we would get a low-ball offer but it was the exact opposite! A little better than expected after they deducted the things that the truck needed to have fixed. Hi Mike and thanks for the question. We've heard of similar experiences with Facebook marketplace before and you're not alone! We absolutely will buy your Chevy S10 but to set expectations, we are talking about at a 22 year old truck in a market awash with new trucks. Selling privately is the best way to maximize the return on an old truck. We resell in the auto industry and our buyers are not paying great money on older vehicles unless they are in exceptional condition. We'd need to see the truck to make you an offer but in all likelihood we'll be in the low hundreds. There isn't a great resale market for a 21 year old Acura so unless it's in exceptionally good condition, we're probably not going to be able to offer much more than scrap value. We'd rather be honest than set inappropriate expectations. Once we have a better idea of condition, we'll be able to give you a much close idea of value.
