Their appt schedule department is absolutely ridiculous. I made an appt for my son 2 weeks prior. Spoke with 3 people to confirm. Showed up and was told his appt was cancelled due to waiting on confirmation, even though I spoke with someone the day before. Not to mention the ladies were very rude about it. My son has been needing this xray. Refuse to ever use this place for anything.

My doctor sent me here twice for a CT Scan. My first appointment was early morning and I had to wait over an hour in the main waiting area and then half an hour in a second area after I changed into a gown. I was told to put my arms over my head when laying on the machine, I asked for a pillow for my shoulder because I had a frozen shoulder and I couldn’t get it fully over my head without pain. She told me, no pillow, it won’t take long. The scan took about 5 minutes and my shoulder was in a lot of pain. For a five minute scan, I was there for two hours and I had an appointment. Three months later, I was back for another scan. When making my appointment I requested a time when there would be little waiting time. I was given a early evening appointment and was told to arrive 15 minutes early for the sign in process. After waiting over an hour, I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be. The girl rolled her eyes at me and picked up the phone. She hung up the phone and with a smirk she told me they were on there way, followed with another roll of the eyes. I sat down and waited another 10 minutes before I had enough and left. I called my doctor and told her never send me there again. I had my scan the following day at another facility just 10 minutes from NSI and I was done in half an hour. Choose any other place than NSI Merritt Island.

The place is awesome, the girl at the front desk are so sweet. If you need x ray anything this is the place to go. Thank God.
