It was a true pleasure to visit and see the art from local artists. They have classes, too. Staff was very kind. Restrooms were spacious and clean. Stop in and soak up the creativity and imaginations of others!

Wonderful collection of local artists work. Affordable prices for most incomes. Great way to spend some time cooling off. Free admission.

Questions & Answers

Will be in the area from February thru March. Will there be classes at that time or can a fee be paid to use clay and a wheel?

Carl Cummings | Sep 11, 2020
P Presseller | Sep 11, 2020

Yes there will be classes in Jan- Mar. The class schedule will be posted before the end of the year. Please check the website visualartcenter.Org occasionally for updates. As I understand, there is a fee for using the wheel and you must take a 6 week class first, but please check with Kimberly Phillips to make sure this is correct.

Looking for a place where I can make my own wheel thrown pottery. Can you point me in the right direction?

A call to artists for all upcoming exhibits can be viewed at visualartcenter.org along with prospectus, hanging requirements and entry form for each exhibit. Entry fees are low, $35 for three pieces hung. Discounts apply for HS students and members. Contact the VAC for requirements for wallspace to feature work of an individual or group artists.
