We have been using Advent Health Imaging Oviedo (previously FRi) for years. But the last two times have been terrible experiences, both from this year. The first appt she was to have a CT with contrast of her back and neck. When we checked in they asked when her dr appt was to go over the results. We told them a date which was a week from the CT date. They didn't get the results to the doctor and that was a wasted appt. Then I had to call to have them rush the results and it still took over a week to get them (keep in mind this is on top of the week that we stated that the dr appt was). The second time, they took it upon themselves to cancel her appt for a CT of the lungs b/c of an internal rule they had about age limits but no one bothered to call or email the patient that it was cancelled. If I hadn't called them the day of to confirm the appt and found out that they had cancelled it, it would have been a wasted trip for my 80 year old mother. The lady who took my call stated she would email the department to call me to explain further why it was cancelled. It is now day 4 and no phone call or email to explain. Very unhappy with them and we will now go to another company to handle our scans.

At 7 months pregnant, my baby had an abnormality so I did my ultrasound here and going into 3 weeks, my Dr still has not gotten the record. I'm now 8 months and I'm getting a call to schedule my ultrasound to check the abnormality. I might just get a lawyer for this one. The sonographer was annoyed when my partner was asking questions and it was obvious she tried to be friendly. I didn't focus on her attitude because I just wanted to be in and out and preparing for a baby is exhausting.

Great staff, very warm and welcoming. Stephen the MRI tech was absolutely wonderful. He helped calm my nerves and was very professional, making this a very easy experience.
