Quest Diagnostics St Augustine

Today I went for a blood test at the Quest Diagnostics lab in plaza south professional, St Augustine. I had my order, my mask and I was the first person to enter the lab. A nurse told me that she couldn't take the blood sample because I didn't have an appointment. Despite the fact that there was only me and another gentleman in the lab, the nurse flatly refused to comply with my request with a rudeness that I have rarely seen in people. Perhaps the CEO doesn't care in the least, since the lab made about 7.7 billion a year. Well, I think this was the last time I will visit this lab. A very very unpleasant experience.

I was very hesitant with all the reviews I read but after checking in on the kiosk I was the first one on standby and I was only there for 30 minutes. The office lady was also the one who drew my blood and I’m very thankful she did. She was extremely nice and gentle. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was definitely amazing.

Very short wait even with others in front of me. The tech I had, Teresa, was extremely nice, helpful, thorough & did a great job drawing my blood. The only thing that would improve this location in my opinion would be adding a 2nd check in kiosk since there is only one available there. Thankfully after figuring out how to use the kiosk it is pretty quick. Definitely recommend this location, it is tucked back in the corner so can be hard to miss, but I will be coming back here next time I need lab work done.
