How do I acquire a transcript of a nursing school that no longer exist. Mercy school of Nursing In Charlotte NC. My wife attended there from 1970 to 1973. School was bought out by Presbyterian Hospital and then later torn down.

Find out who holds the school records so you can obtain an official transcript. If that does not work, contact your local nursing board to see if they maintained copies of your transcript on file. Good luck

Verify your license on NCBON.. if is says multistate, then you do. How long have you been a nurse, because there are new rules for compact state licensure. The NC BON sent the information some months ago. Also visit the NC BON website for new rules and regs for Compact States.

As long as you have a valid, current, unrestricted license in any state you can apply by endorsement. Non compact states can take longer to transfer in from.
What. North Carolina agency or state board supervises FNP's and what procedure should be followed to file a grievance? Also what does the "F" stand for in FNP?
Thank you!

If you received it in 2018, it will expire on the last day of your birthday month in 2020, unless it is a temporary license or has other restrictions on it. You can also go to www.ncbon.com and look it up by verifying your license if you still have questions.

I have been working as an RN for over 20 yrs. now my question is this: are we required to have special training or certification to teach how to pass medications to med tech, as well as blood borne pathogens and infection control?
Easter Thomas | Sep 19, 2018
Chelsea Mitchell | Sep 19, 2018
You need to be certified to teach medication administration to med techs, if they are in a skill nursing facility. That class is taught at Edgecombe Community College. They have to pass the certification exam which is thru PEARSON Vue. NC BON regulates certification.
For other facility's, if you teach them medication administration, they will only be allowed to administer medication in that facility only, unless they take the test that is administered thru DHHS
