-Apartment mold is a huge issue. severe construction issues. -Loud and Rude neighbors. -Dangerous and irresponsible resident drivers. if you have kids, then you need to be concerned. -Maintenance personal will enter the apartment even if you are in the shower. -Annoying lawn mower schedule that takes forever to finish. -Management will lie on several occasions. -Delay in responses and taking action. (Severe lack of sense of urgency). -Unjustified rent hikes despite the country being in a recession. -Unreliable house appliances. -Silverfish infestation. -Inconsistent trash pickup schedule. They say that it starts at 7 PM, but on several occasions, it will occur at 2 am! -Walking path ways aren't illuminated enough during the night.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The apartment is cheaply made, poor insulation, silver fish infestation, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbors are doing.It was horrendous. Now let’s talk about the most disgusting infuriating display of not only professionalism but loyalty I’ve ever seen. I have had the most abhorrent experience moving out of this place. The rent went up substantially and the apartment was not worth it anymore. Not with all the issues. Especially when just down the road there are beautiful newly constructed properties that are actually considered ‘luxury’ with staggering amenities. I paid for the move out clean prior to leaving Parkside. Almost a month goes by I never received the security deposit and called in to inquire about it. I was told they would look into it. The next morning I received an email about the final balance being $707.44. $470.54 after the deduction of the security deposit.I paid the last months rent WEEKS ago so I was thoroughly confused. Upon close inspection I saw I was charged for the refrigerator damages and carpet. The move out clean was $140. Carpet included. They even advertised this option “for extra soiled carpets” it was also advertised as “pickup and go!”I called the office and was told that I needed to speak to the assistant manger and was told she would call me back. She never did. Rowines Rivera was the most incompetent, repugnant, disgusting human being I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I asked her what was the point of taking the money to clean the carpet if you knew you were going to replace it? Why advertise a service you can’t provide? Why wait WEEKS after to notify me about the charges only when I inquired about the security deposit? Which she had a history of doing. I had to call multiple times right before moving out because she never sent the notice to vacate or a confirmation for the termination of my lease. She said she would send it. Another week went by and I had to call AGAIN. Rowines responded with “I never sent it?” Just all around distasteful and untactful. Today was the last straw. Upon her rude matter of fact behavior when asking where she deducted the cleaning fee she stated in a curt manner “if you would just look at the account balance which I was but was it was in fact NOT listed. Upon realizing her error in the nastiest tone she replied “Well do you want me to send the invoice?” I asked her about ten times what was Normal wear and tear and she could not answer the question. I was met with “Well what do you mean? I don’t understand? It’s a simple question what is there not to understand? I’m ashamed to say I let such a repulsive individual get me out of character. But she was so nasty and her tone was so berating. I decided to reciprocate her unprofessionalism. To which she hung up in my face. I felt bad because anyone who knows me knows I’m the sweetest person and I’m never disrespectful unless disrespected. I’ve never in life had an interaction with a “professional” the way I had with her, Her tone was so belittling and demeaning I could not let such an impudent individual who clearly isn’t versed in her job or it’s policies demean me. I’ve reached out to a lawyer and will update this when the issue is resolved. I will also attach the photos of the “damaged” refrigerator for Laughs.
