I know the people in the office of the Clerk of Court do not have an easy job. Some of the people who come in are probably challenging. However, I wish they would learn to be better with people that they are supposed to be serving. After 3 visits and jumping through all the hoops I had been given, I finally had to scream at the clerk on visit 4. Then, after they had me wait for one hour, they did what was their job to do. Yes, I did finally leave with what I needed, but what they may not realize is that I spent a lot of money on gas, took time off work, and lost sleep, and while they may just not care, I really wish they would treat me like they would like to be treated. Training? I don't know. Maybe it would help.

Everyone in the clerks office is very nice! And the civil court judges are very respectful! I feel they truly want the best for you. And they give you the chance to take responsibility for yourself and to be the better person all around. I am thankful to have had the experience of seeing this and pray other courts follow Oxfords lead.

Main office in Raleigh advised me to speak with my local clerk of court office. Main office was very informative and courteous. Granville County Clerk of Court office was very short, unprofessional, said I need a lawyer, good luck and Hung up on me.
