Great facility with lots of dogs that are well taken care of.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I am so disappointed in this organization. I was excited to adopt from this place and had heard excellent things. Now I look and see a ton of one star reviews. We adopted a puppy from Saving Grace. They say if you have any issues, to contact them and that they will take the dog back if necessary. My dog started resource guarding and dominating the dog we already had. After extensive training and money, we realized this was his nature and we reached out to Saving Grace for help. To say they were of zero help is an understatement. The communication was terrible. They pushed back on posting him on their site and once they did they took him back off relatively quickly. We were told there was no one to foster him and if they took him on the farm and he aggressed towards another animal, they would EUTHANIZE him. I thought Saving Grace was a no kill shelter.... Please know this is NOT the case. So of course we don't take our dog there because he doesn't deserve to be euthanized just because he doesn't get along with other animals. Once they said this to my husband, we cut all communication. Be aware that if you have issues with your dog, they might not take them back and you are left with trying to re-home them yourself. I know personally that this is not an easy feat. Shame on you, Saving Grace.

We have adopted several dogs through SG over the years, and every experience has been great. The adoption coordinators can help you find a perfect match for your next best furry friend (BFF)!

An amazingly and purely philanthropic mission to rescue dogs from all over!

I would reach out to Saving Grace directly. I just gave them a review-they would be able to help I’m sure
I don't think they are able to take owner surrender animals anymore.
Ours costed $395, but it should be on their website?
Here's a link to the donation page on the Saving Grace website! https://savinggracenc.org/donate-now/ Thanks!
Don't think so. Consider the costs associated with transport, assessment, feeding, and spay or neutering, and managing the adoption process.
You may want to check with Chatham Animal Rescue and Education or Cat Angels. If they can't help they may have suggestions.
contact saving grace directly(919) 518 1180. they should be able to tell you
Appointments are required except during special events open to the public
