Convenient and arranged as many other REI locations I have been to in the past. They have clothing and equipment for hiking, camping, biking, and watersports. They also have a used equipment section which I had not seen at REI in the past. Fast check out and found what we needed.

May (thanks for help with my trying on 1,000 running shoes) and Noelia (thanks for keeping my shoebox up front) are professional, helpful, and nice people 8/12/2022 update: One of two pairs of running shoes I bought ended up being a half size too small, so I bought a larger size online since they were out of stock at the store. I wore the smaller shoes for two weeks while waiting for the new shoes to come in When I returned the small shoes at REI, the cashier, first letter J, was insulted that I had worn them over a period of two weeks. He couldn’t even make eye contact with me once he saw the sneakers, which had dirt on them because I wore them outside. If it’s REI’s policy to allow for sneaker returns within a year, train your cashier to not be a jerk about it

We needed to fix up our bikes (not purchased at REI) and were told by staff that members get 20% bike service. Staff told us that they would work on any bikes even ones not sold by REI so we signed up for a membership. Brought the bikes into the store and a different staff member refused to service the bikes because they would only service bikes sold in store. We wanted standard service (bike / shifting cables replaced) that is listed as a service they provide both online and on a sign in the store. Very frustrating to be misled into a membership.

Great covid practices in place from having a greeter at the door to have directions marked.
If it's gear they will have it. I would take a look at their website as it has even more stuff
they have a bicycle service department.
