Wouldn’t recommend if you’re an international student. I had a terrible experience that almost ruined my summer. I just wanted to get my ssn to start working on campus this summer but it took more than 2 months which usually takes within 2 weeks. So I couldn’t start working this summer and it wasn’t my fault at all. I should’ve gone to the one in Thousand Oaks.

Sorry to hear of your loss. 1099's (non employee compensation) should come from the company who paid him. They are due out by Feb. for the prior year. If you don't receive his 2017 form by then, call his former company's payroll/HR dept.
