Literally hate coming here, the workers here are super rude. If there’s a chain or business that handles dmv services go there before coming to this one.

As forms of payment the DMV accepts cash, check or money order, or debit card. Just not credit card.

The DMV stops following the vehicle after a while, the lady at the DMV told me. I don't know how long that is. But they will re-establish a VIN ID have it recertify for brakes lights etc then issue fresh paperwork. Good luck 🤞

You don't have to have an appointment, but you'll get done faster if you make one. This is a very efficient DMV office though, so depending on when you go, it could still be quite fast.

As it says on the DMV web site only people that have appointments can reschedule their appointments. You can go to Manteca when you're ready to take your test I would advise going Tuesday through Thursday or early in the morning for your road test. They are testing people for covid-19 be prepared to wait.
It's not how was before, you can plan 30 min before the close, you can go 4 and pray they can take you. All dmv has occupancy limit, if they reach that limit they stop taking walk ins, appointment only. But dmv service taking people who made appointments year a go. It's no way you can make appointment now.
I bought a motorcycle without paper work. went to dmv they said the bike is in collections. contacted collection agency they couldn't give me any info without an account number which i don't have.i do not know who was the original buyer.

I was at the Manteca DMV office yesterday and spoke to one of the people there when they came out of the building... they are not open for business and there is no date yet as to when they will re-open. I and my wife need to get our "real ID" done too...

If you have a license always do a renewal. It's much easier to renew than to retake the exam. Real estate is the best business you can get. I'm over 60 and I love it. Yes,you can do it online too. But the new law say that you have to get a New driver's license from the DMV. And if wanted to go to Manteca DMV. The address is: 955 Davis St. Manteca ,Ca 95336.
