Great housing for low-income seniors! I have friends that reside here and they love it here. The apartments are well equipped and they are good size. They also like the location and how well maintained the grounds are. My mother in-law has applied here and she is hopefully moving in soon.

I went here all excited because friends of mine live here and said it is low income housing for the elderly. I went to apply and was told that I don't make ENOUGH !! I'm only on SS income and I'm 73 and live alone....so I was shocked that they considered me 'too' poor....so it is bias toward the 'wealthy' poor elderly...it is a sad joke!!

This is one of the best affordable housing senior complexes around. The apartments are a good size, come with appliances and a/c, and all have balconies or patios. Maintenance is 24 hr and the buildings and grounds are very well maintained. Staff is available during work hours to assist with questions or problems. Very comfortable and safe place to call home. I love it!!

According to the latest brochure, a 1 bdrm affordable is $564.00. Market rate is $880.00. Apts are based on income qualifications and there is currently about a 4 year wait list. But best to call office for verification of pricing and availability.
These apartments are subsidized by the government. You have to put your name on a waiting list to be considered. The rent depends on your income level.
My understanding is that there are no Apts available and the waiting period is approximately 3yrs
I am not with the Senior Center but I have friends who live there and yes they have pets
