I went in today to see liz for a layered haircut. I received exactly three layers starting from front (very short looks like a bob when I attempted to put it in a pony tail) to "rat tail without a braid in the back" according to my boyfriend when I got home. I went straight back and got the layers at least blended together by Karla who was kind enough to do what she could and did get them to be softer/more cohesive overall. Unfortunately it still looks like I have a bob cut with long tails at the bottom and descriptions from friends and family have been "very karenish" "you look very....mature" and "I knew a lot of PTA moms growing up that did something similar with their hair." I am 23. I wanted something fun to accentuate my hairs natural waviness into some nice beach waves. Sadly I will have to wait several months for the front third of my hair to grow out enough to get this fixed properly, however I may go back to see Karla when I do as she seemed ok.

Been a long time since ive been able to treat myself. Went in with hair a mess and not really an idea of what I wanted. I have frizzy hair that is premenopausal thin and falling out. I was basically not helpful at all and just like "fix this! " Liz was so sweet and absolutely amazing! She cut it in a way that really hides how thin its gotten and made a really nice natural color i could maintain easily with highlights that will blend with my whites. Also she is a joy to talk to but also let me be quiet for long stretches which i really like. She really took her time and actually had ti work late to finish. I am so happy with the result.
