I may not be a papusa person, but that is beside the point. I had my first one (or 3) here and all of them tasted plain. The cabbage and tomato sauce improved it minimally. Chips were ok. Salsa was pretty good. I was advised by a friend to stay away from the horchata even though I was craving it. This same friend said that he ordered an item vegetarian last time he was there and they still put meat in it. The place was crowded so the wait for the table was expected, but the slow service was not. Everyone at the front desk was smiling and kind. So was our server, but she took her time with ever approaching our table to take our order. The chips and salsa arrived well before the drinks, so our mouth were getting dry, but we were getting too hungry to refrain from eating the chips. I didn't notice until before we left, but there was a crack in the bottom of my cup, which explained why it constantly a puddle under my cup.when I picked it up. I thought it was intense condensation. The food took a very long time to come out to the point where we had to ask for another basket of chips. The food arrived right before the chip's did, but we wish we were checked up on sooner so that we could actually eat the second basket of chips. When she checked up on us, it was often very shallow of a check-in, which is fair when you seem to be in a rush. Even though I was not a fan of the food, I wanted to take it home, so I requested a container for the tomato sauce and our server forgot. After 5min and noticing our server helping others, we asked a different server so that we could leave the place and the best they could come up with was a Ziploc bag. It seems that this place could have gone a long way with a self-service water dispenser and a self-servicd chips and salsa station so that there is less strain on the servers, especially when it got busier and less wait, or caring for the wait to be served by patrons. Even when it died down inside it seemed like they were constantly rushing. Disposable cups for the salsa would go a long way. Those cups could be used for taking home some tomato sauce for my leftover papusas, too. We also would not have to wait for waters. Price seemed fair for what we got. Filled us up. 2 stars because staff seemed mostly sincere, food wasn't inedible, and there is hope that if some improvement is made, there may be a reason to go back, although unlikely.

Delicious pupusas but better order ahead the preparation takes minimum between 30 and 40 minutes to get your order

September 10-2022. The service was good but the food was not. The pupusas were too big, pure dough and the cheese looked like hard gum and would clog your throat. I didn't eat the nuegados, they were like stone, only reheated in the microwave. The comments that say that the breaks are good are from 3 or 4 years ago. 2 years ago the food was much better here. In this 2022 Food is Fatal.

I told you ordering online is much better
They do not answer, because you can no longer make orders by phone, you have to go to make the order, that is what they told us on the 29th that we were there.
I don't make any delivery services
