I would like to thank Antelope Valley Hospital for saving my husband's life, and for the outstanding professional care.

I always had a fear of hospital’s and if someone would of said the pain I’m having in my stomach was going to keep me there a full week I definitely would of found excuses not to go.. but I’m so grateful I made the decision to have my wife take me…not only did they take great care of me and so professional I would of never been scared of hospitals if I knew this kind of care was around the corner at AVH ..the nurses and doctors plus any staff made me feel at home and took the greatest care I could of ever asked for I didn’t want to leave that’s how good the staff made me feel..there is nothing negative I have to say about this place it felt like a second home..so guys maybe your expecting a doctor are nurse to be in there 24/7 by your side to make you feel they care is not the way to look at it ..NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS trust me.. I want to thank my beautiful wife for not leaving my side until they made her go due to visiting hours she was the bested t thing I can ask for to share this experience with I can never thank her enough for what she did during my visit…and my nurses they were also the best that I can ever ask for very honest and professional at every step especially my doctors…so thank you so much for getting me back home to my wife and kid’s as quick and as safe as possible I really did miss them I’ve never been a day away from them so I’m grateful they made it feel like a second home..and a very special thanks to my nurse Reggie that I had on the floor right below ICU that I was put in for a little more special care he is and always will be a brother to me he was the best..so please if you have any doubts about we’re your at don’t they are doing there best for you I promise you that..we’ll I’m home now and you’ll be too and remember no news is good news if they always by your side then something is more wrong but I assure you that they’ll fix it…thanks again and much much love to antelope valley hospital be safe and god bless you and your love ones…

^^hopefully the new hospital they plan on building won’t dump seizing patients in the middle of the parking lot!!!!! or maybe better staff will be hired. “this hospital is responsible for the care of a population of over 500k.” that has no justification for the mistreatment of patients. shame on you & the staff there. disgusting.
Yea getting thrown out of a wheelchair is pretty hard to do by yourself. Glad they were there to help. If any of that was true they wouldn't have treated her once they realized they were being recorded they would have called the police. Funny how it was the people who saw this happening who called the police showed them the footage and scolded the hospital and even told the lady she should press charges.
I don't think so.
Hello Angie De, if you were a patient here and would like to report your experience you may contact our Patient & Family Experience team at 661-949-5650. Thank you.
Emergency.
Don't like AV hospital. They would rather have you die than take care of you
Careful though the staff here might dump you with a bag over your head
Connect to physician guest, then choose 24hours access. Put whatever info and connect. :)
Yes but theyll dump you in the parking lot with a spit guard
Hello Rene Ramos, you would enter through the main entrance of the hospital, and check in at the front desk to receive a visitor badge. To learn more about our visitor policy, please visit: https://www.avmc.org/visitors/visiting-hours-policies/

Hello Deborah Moura, My AVH Health is Antelope Valley Hospital’s secure online patient health portal, which allows patients to access their health information online. Patients whom receive treatment here are signed up, or they designate a representative whom is also allowed access to the patient's information. If this is not the case, then I would verify if it's spam.
Hello Farce Garrison, the hospital does it best to attend to everyone in a timely manner. With that said, some patients may take longer due to the severity or complexity of their case. Rest assured you will be seen and treated, and we thank you for your patience.
Hello Mhara, to clarify the children visiting the hospital must be 16 years or older. Children under the age of 16 will require hospital approval.
Hi Bob, for surgery drop-offs you will need to bring the patient to the main admitting area (located in the front of the hospital). The patient will then register and be taken to pre-op for their surgery. Currently, there are no visitors allowed to accompany the patient, unless he/she has clearance for such.
Hello John Miner, no he is no longer with the hospital. If you need to reach the Chaplain office please call 661-949-5005. Thank you.
If this is an emergency please dial 911. Otherwise contact your primary healthcare provider.

Hello, please call and ask for the house supervisor so they can better determine the situation.
Many patients are brought into the ER by law enforcement for a blood draw. Consent isnt required.
No, Palmdale Regional has the private rooms. AV has tiny rooms that require sharing.
It's a very busy community hospital...better to focus on what your needs are. Then find and communicate directly to a doctor that is skilled in helping your specific needs.
We don't currently have online bill pay capabilities, but it is an option we're planning to add soon.
It is based on if the doctor has privileges at the hospital and what type of insurance she has

Public Hospital District with a publicly elected board of directors. Measure H changed the dynamics of the district, but AVH is still a public hospital, not county.
