COLD SHOWERS The shower barely make it to lukewarm and recently (in the WINTER) the hot water doesn't work at all. Of course I was given some lip service about maintenance, which brings me to my next point Equipment Small square footage and only three Smith machines which members (including me) will use for both leg and chest exercises...prepare to wait. There isn't a decent incline bench for abdominal work. When I asked where it was, I was told NINE WEEKS AGO that they were “waiting on parts”. Better lies have been told. Passive supervision Since this is one of the standard (smaller) planet fitness sites, it's surprising that there are often 2-3 employees behind the desk. This would normally be a good thing but often the staff members stay behind the desk and don't do a basic walk-through. This means that problems such as an overflowing trashcan or a dispensar without soap aren't handled unless reported. I haven't found this to be a major issue but it's worth noting. In terms of staff friendliness and approachability, this is the best planet fitness in the area. Edit (increased by one star): service has improved although it seems to be a bit of a challenge to get some of the staff to greet/bid farewell to clients. Not a big deal but it's kind of awkward when they're just standing there in silence when you're scanning in.

I wish there was "NO STAR" option to use for this business. We have canceled our membership and were told that everything is okay. My bad that I just realized last week that they've been charging me since March last year. I called and asked nicely and they told me that "They simply don't care if we never been there to use their services and they only look at what their contact says". Well, I'm glad I have a company lawyer that can take care of things. My bank will cancel all the payments hopefully. Please be careful while you're signing up with these people. All they want is your money. They simply don't care about customer experience.

This is a great gym. It’s always clean, and they maintain their equipment. I really like the “No Gymtimidation“ rules. Finally, a place where I can work out in peace without some gym bro telling me I’m “doing it all wrong” (even though they don’t know my fitness goals). Most of the people are just focused on doing their own thing and getting healthier. It’s very relaxed and friendly.

Still wear a mask if your vacinated gyms are a hot bed for spores and droplets from heavy breathing and sweat which carries threw out the air by ventilation air systems and into your lungs covids successor alfa is twice as dangerous

If that is something you would like to do, you can do so online at https://transfer.planetfitness.com. Otherwise, we ask that you send a signed letter to our club requesting the cancellation of your membership. No need to make it certified, simply putting a letter in the mail would suffice. If you would like to have a delivery confirmation of your letter, you are welcome to send it as certified mail! That is so awesome! We always love when families are able to crush fitness goals together. If you are a black card member they may be your guest. However, as a white card member they must have their own membership. If you are getting them their own membership you must be present at sign up. (you can get them their own even as a black card holder) We do have a few extra rules as well. Children 13-15 must be accompanied at all times. They do not. Aborn & White is the only San Jose location with room for one.
Just asked an employee, they told me yes any 15-18 year old gets a free membership over the summer. No need for a parent account linked or anything. They just might need a signature from the parent.
They have showers and are nicer than some other PF showers. As for a pool, you’re outta luck
No towels, no soap, no shamp/cond, hand air dryer, LR cleaner early daytime vs night, same for crowds and bring your own lock! There are only 5 or 6 each of shower and toilet stalls in men's area! For $10/month with 24/7 hours with parking, one can adapt! Thanks
