First time at White Bear Lake and decided to have some breakfast here. Mainly because I preferred tequila instead of coffee and they were the only bar open at 8:30am. I did order tequila on the rocks, which is my go-to drink at any bar but this place mixed the tequila with water. which was an odd choice - I ended up barely drinking it. Anyways, I ordered the eggs benny, which is what I always order at new places. Its my way of judging how good they are 😂. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The hollandaise sauce was good, but the eggs were well done and tasted like hard boiled eggs instead of a nice runny poached ones. The hash browns were extremely thin and because of that were oozing with oil 🥲. I asked for the Canadian bacon well done but it wasn’t, so I couldn’t eat it. I do realize this isn’t a Gordon Ramsey kitchen, its just a bar, but being in such a nice downtown area in a rich neighborhood near the lake - I had higher expectations for a Egg Benedict. Also, the service was what really sucked. Although the staff was nice, it took forever to get anything. I waited literally 20 minutes after I ate for someone to give me the bill, and I also had to wait 15 minutes for the eggs benny while the place was pretty empty, there was maybe 3 tables full. Def. would not recommend compared to the other places in town, I wish I had taken my business elsewhere.

Been here twice for breakfast. Great atmosphere, and I love the patio. Friendly staff and good food. I'll be back for sure.

I eat here on a regular rotation. Breakfast is the best. Lots of seating, unlike the "other" breakfast spot in town. The service is great. Bartender — RJ, is always right there to help. There are your regulars who add some spice to the place. And the breakfast is always spot on. Just like today.

Please be aware the wait staff are not masked as they deliver ( and cook?) your meal. Omicron is currently a huge threat and spread easily by respiratory droplets and they are 24 - 36” from your meal
