Your fat security guard is rude
Paul R.
These guys are ridiculously rude! I called to ask a very reasonable question, politely and received a very hostile response and the gentleman on the line just hung up! What a joke. this particular individual is a clown, and i look forward to making a complaint.

Terrible security guard, poor communication. I have tried to connect with this office for over two weeks and they are not available over the phone or in person. I decided to turn in paperwork and was met by a very aggressive security guard. I had assured him I didn't have any guns knives or pepper spray on me after he asked and he proceeded to ask me again, 3 times. I was only trying to file paperwork and was treated like a threat. This was a very negative experience.

I followed all instructions and forms to be put back on Medicare Part B and was denied - SS has records of my original A and B coverage as well as my employer coverages to date. I can't go in for appointments due to covid restrictions, fax and tues/wed dropbox only for documents. They gave me additional incorrect information over the phone. SC office is making it ridiculously hard for me to get the benefits owed to me, and I get penalized with a Part D surcharge and vulnerable to part B lack of coverage the longer I go without Part B. What a joke! Do they realize that they are dealing with human lives and health?

Put away max retirement while you're working; if possible, get jobs that pay better. Always work "on the books", so you get SSI credit for your wages.
No. It’s closed at lunch 12pm,and open till 4pm
Yes
best I can think of is to Google the disability and fish for answers...
Make a appointment
You can contact us our employer Or go onto my social security online
Generally its best to go into office. Either here in Santa Cruz or Watsonville.
Drivers license, or birth certificate and / or be able to answer a few questions to verify your identity from information they have on you.
Absolutely differently. I have once, my wife is waiting second cycle.
There are multiple ways to do this. You can call and wait on hold for over an hour and a half. Or... You can go into the office to do a walk in. Expect to spend about the same amount of time waiting. Your wait time can be less or more depending on which social security office you go to. They may ask you to return on another date with an appointment that they can make for you at the office. You will need to bring a death certificate. You may need more things that I am unaware of but if you do a walk in and you need more then a death certificate then they will be able to tell you what you need to bring. For what it is worth, I am not a social security agent. Just recently gone through some hoops there and discussed a similar topic with a very friendly agent.
And you must have had kids by him and be at least 62
If you or a family member draw social security or disability, they usually mail it out. If you have not received it, then I would go in.
You should get one with your current name.. as you may need it for any other legal documents you may need in the future.
They will give a print out of your SSN.
No, for that you need to go to the county like if you were applying for food stamps.
Probably not.
go to the website they answer a bunch of questions online either that or take a number and wait at the local Social Security office..
I use to get notifications in the mail about that
This is not the ssi website.
Lunch time.
I do not know if an appointment is necessary. I have never had an appointment.
