I would NOT recommend Direct Orthopedic Care for anything regarding your personal health or wellbeing. I had a shoulder sprain and they will not take your insurance over the phone. Instead they want you to physically "walk-in" to the building. Upon "walking in" no one was at the front desk to help me, and after waiting about 10 minutes in the lobby I was "greeted" by the receptionist who asked me to put on a mask and fill out a bunch of paperwork. Then they told me they would not accept my insurance which is completely bogus and I was treated unprofessionally and downright rudely my whole time there. Beyond that, these are Physician Assistants, they're not real Orthopedic Doctors and it shows. This was amateur hour at best and you are better off finding a real Orthopedic Physician.

.After falling from a ladder on 10/31/2011 and shattering my left heel, fracturing the ankle and a tibial plateau fracture on the rt leg, I met Dr. Spelich the next day. Unable to go home (couldn’t maneuver through my home with 2 broken legs) or have surgery immediately, he explained the next few weeks of recovery to me, and made arrangements for me to go to a care/rehab facility. I had surgery at TVH and we all laughed afterwards at the “copious amts. of ice" in his instructions. I was always treated with the utmost care and respect through my recovery and numerous return visits to check my progress. I still go in occasionally when necessary. I will always recommend Dr. Spelich and DOC. Thank you Tammy Washburn

The staff was very friendly... But it was $335 AFTER insurance. They didn't even know it was wrong with my wrist... I'm a little disappointed because they told me the x-rays would be about $50, and they were $160.
