If I could give 10 stars I would. No wait, extremely professional and caring. They were so good with both of my pups and I was in and out!

They were very kind to squeeze us in at 8:45pm on a Saturday night, before the doctor left at 9pm. The doctor was caring and got our pup sorted out.

Excellent service! My cat was sick and of course it was the weekend so my vets office was closed. They were able to see him and provided great service. They followed up with an extensive record to give to my vet who commented that they gave her everything she could have asked for in a treatment record. He's doing great now and I would definitely recommend Monterey Peninsula Vets to anyone who needed emergency care for their vet.

I can finally speak of this, as it was so upsetting. I took my 10 year old Golden Retriever in for evaluation due to the rapid change in one of his masses and deterioration in quality of life. This Dr. was not only direct, and had no bedside manner, she was arrogant and rude. She argued with me and told me that masses don't change color within a day (they do if there has been an internal bleed due to the mass being over the heart and Hemangiosarcoma is involved... this would be my second trip down that road) and she doubted I kept that close of an eye on his condition. She further badgered me, asking if I was planning to cut on a 10 year old dog? I was simply trying to gather facts to understand if palliative care or euthanasia were more appropriate. I feared he would collapse and I did not want him to be scared and suffer. She dismissed that and told me "dogs don't just collapse." A week later, the bluish-black mass showed its true nature, and my baby collapsed and died. Neither one of us needed to go through that kind of abuse. I hope to save someone else from this trauma. There's another choice within a mile. Choose wisely.
