Amazing! Thay got everything done fast, efficiently, and for a great price. At first I thought it was kinda strange that they just do first come first serve work on week days, but they obviously know what they're doing and it let's them get people in and out fast. I had two other mechanics tell me that I most likely need my muffler replaced and one of them recommended Mad Hatter Muffler Center to me. They were able to examine my muffler, patch it in two places, and bend a new pipes for it in three hours and it only cost $150 plus tax, so I'm very happy with their services. 11/10 would recommend

Last Fall my son (attending OSU) had the catalytic converter stolen out of his 2006 Toyota Prius when it was parked in front of his apartment. Being from MA, I read the reviews on muffler shops in the Columbus, OH area before sending him to this shop. They gave him an estimated replacement cost of $850. When he picked up the car (8/27/2021) they said the bill was $960.86 and that the extra charge was because they had to replace the O2 sensor too. Fast forward to 2/11/2022, the car was brought in for its annual emissions test in MA which it failed due to a missing O2 sensor. An inspection under the car reviled that the new converter has a metal hex plug in the location where the O2 sensor should have been installed, and immediately next to this were the four clipped wires from the original sensor (see attached photo). Very disappointed with the unethical behavior of this muffler shop. Recommend that you look elsewhere when searching for a muffler shop in the Columbus, OH area,

These guys were excellent. They are professional, and get you in and out faster than you would think. While I was there. They pushed through about 12 cars in an hour. Reasonably priced and do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone who needed exhaust work done. Thanks again Mad Hatter.

They are always busy, but sometimes they are really REALLY busy and there's a wait list, so it doesn't hurt to give them a call before you go to see if things are regular or insane busy. …

No appointment first come first serve
I think they can do just about any custom stuff. They will do the stuff the chain shops don't do. Definitely give them a call.
Honestly I couldn't buy my parts cheaper than there.
Yes
No there a muffler shop but I do .
Outstanding work and service
Wearing mask is required, social distance, sanitation also
Yes, They are open
Worth it! Just take your vehicle they will look at it and give you a price.. Incredibly reasonable quick quality work!
Well that depends on if you're having them get the kit for you and letting them install it, or you buy your own kit and you take it to them to install which they will do. All I can really tell you is that they're very honest and trustworthy. I had taken my car to a different muffler shop and they told me it would be $150 for the repair. I took it to Mad Hatter just to get a second opinion and they fixed it for $25 you can't beat that. So as far as I'm concerned anytime that I have an exhaust problem Mad Hatter's place.
There is not a legitimate shop around that will do it.
I work for Mad Hatter, on the garage door directly to the right of the office about a foot up theres a little air hole where you can drop your keys at. Place your keys in an envelope w your name, vehicle, and number somewhere on the envelope and once we see what's wrong w your vehicle, we'll give you a call.
Unfortunately, you can't go to Mad Hatter for your brakes.
I called and they were able to roughly give an estimate, but obviously better if they see it.
You can, but the wait usually isn't longer than an hour.
I believe u can tow it but they only do muffler work i would suggest you fix tires and then take it
Mad hatter will give you a great price. I took my truck there a few weeks ago thinking I needed a cat. conv. They were able to weld the crack in my existing one and saved me a hundred dollars or more. You can absolutely trust them to treat you right.
