Take Back Roads

A cute place with exposed brick and lots of local art - including from kids summer camp when we were there - and a nice patio. Generally, the food was very good. Neither of us cared for our drinks, though - the ginger peach tea didn’t have much flavor and the Nutella coffee, as you can see, what quite sloppy and didn’t taste all that great. Lots of flies from the doors being open, had to constantly swat at them to keep them away from the food and from landing on us. That was a major yuck factor.

I LOVE the food here. However, they have changed their hours so much over the years, to the point that I and my friends no longer get to come in. They have started to open later and later, and they have even changed the days that they are closed. They used to be open for weekend brunches. Sunday was the busiest day, and now they aren’t open at all on Sundays. Maybe the owner is getting old and doesn’t want to come in as early or often anymore? I would be happy to revise my review, given that they open for more hours, like they used to. -everyone who used to enjoy Sunday brunch here, or early morning treats.
