From antiquarian copies of classics to the newest releases, you’ll find whatever you’re looking for here. The staff is very friendly and the selection of books is incredible. I’ve been here a multiple times and each time was a pleasurable experience. If you’re in downtown Auburn, you have to check this place out.

My experience you ask? The smell in there – glorious, like that of hundreds of well-loved & read books. The organization in there – spectacular, separated by genre & alphabetized by last name. The prices – eh, a little pricey, but c'mon, we gotta support our local bookstores, and the owner has to pay an outrageous amount in taxes (or so I think I overheard him sharing with another store owner). Am I oversharing? Probably, but who cares. So anyway, 5 stars for this most lovable used bookstore. I just left this store 20 mins. ago and I'm already on page 87 of my book. All to say, there are quality finds on every shelf, check them out!

We accept donations any time during our business hours (our current hours are: Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm, and Sat 10am-6pm). Visit the store and check with me (Glen, owner; Tue-Sat) or Fred on Mondays. You'll bring them through the front door and set them on the floor area marked with blue tape near the front window display. We will pick a few books for use at the store, and the rest will be passed on to local charities with whom we have contact (not national chains). This is only for donations. If you want store credit, or to be paid for any of the books, you'll have to make other arrangements for how or when to bring them in. Thanks so much for your support!
