10/10, would tap again. But seriously, I've been training here for years, and it is by far the best BJJ school that I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, instruction, and training partners. Zero complaints.

Kids coaches are awesome...genuine and respectful.

I’m from AZ and came to visit family for the summer holiday. My cousin trains here and has nothing but great things to say about the school. I was able to go to the 6am class to train and everyone was very welcoming. I learned a lot from Professor Sean and got some good rolls in as well. If you live in the area and want to learn BJJ, I’d definitely recommend this school!

Waza is an amazing gym with friendly and encouraging instructors. Everyone is focused on improving their jiu jitsu but it is also an environment that is welcoming to all levels and abilities. The friends I’ve made at Waza, I will have for life. I can’t recommend this place enough. It truly has become like a second home for me, and I know it has had the same impact on others as well. Derek DiManno, the owner and head instructor, is not only a phenomenal coach but also a great person! He truly does set the atmosphere of the gym, and from the top down it is a place where anyone can feel comfortable and welcome to learn bjj! If you’re looking for a place to train, Waza is it! I’ll hopefully see you on the mats soon!

Hello. Yes, we have classes for kids as young as 4 years old. Your son would be best suited for our Junior 1 Program. The schedule is as follows: Mon, Wed: 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm & 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm Tue, Thu: 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm & 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm Sat: 9:00 am - 9:45 am Regarding the price, our tuition for our standard rate (2 days a week) is $149 a month for month-to-month payments. Unlike most martial arts schools, we do not require contracts, enrollment fees, belt testing fees, association fees, or other hidden fees. The only initial investment is to purchase a gi (uniform), which you can do through us or you are welcome to shop online. We offer a couple free trial classes to see if your son likes it. If he wants to try out a free class, I recommend arriving 15 minutes before the class begins to sign a waiver and he can get fitted for a gi (uniform) to borrow for the class. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for your interest in our school. Derek
There's no specific Judo class, but some of the stand-ups techniques taught are from Judo.
Go ahead and drop in sometime this week to talk about the details
