what a pathetic display of ignorance by law enforcement. filming on public property is a first amendment right. it is so disappointing to see people who are given authority TO ENFORCE THE LAW BUT NOT KNOW THE LAW. pathetic display of training.

If every officer conducted themselves to the the public like Lt.Pacheo there would be very little disconnect between the police and citizens. Unfortunately what I just watched was out of 4 offices she is the only one that behaves in a manner that brings respect to the uniform. The other 3 were power hungry bullies, ignorant to the law and only concerned with having their directives enforced. Thank you Lt.Pacheco for your professional service to the public.

A perfect graduation day at the Academy. Everything was well organized and scheduled. The EVOC demonstration was amazing show of driving skills.

What is the program you could do in high school to become a CHP where you basically do what they do in the academy but it helps you get into the academy when you’re of Legal age. A CHP officer was at my school last week and was talking about this

I have joined the US Military straight out of high school because I want to serve my country and later on I want to become a CHP officer to serve my community, how can I transition from the military and in the CHP and when can I start applying?
