We had to ask 3 times to get our room serviced. The sheets were not changed on our bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I do love that they always had a tub full of ice filled with water as you came in the door. If given a choice, we would not stay there again. Overall maintenance on the interior was not kept up;wallpaper was torn in several different places. Doors were scuffed and dirty. Very poor general maintenance There was a SINGLE VERY SMALL drawer for 2 of us to unload our suitcases. We stayed there for 3 days. There was hardly and Counter space in the bathroom. Hotel was dingy.

We traveled here for a softball state tournament, which is 15 minutes from the Moore County Complex! We blocked off rooms for two of our teams and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed! The breakfast was good each morning, my only complaint is they need another waffle maker and possibly move it to the end of the counter and not in the middle of everything! Multiple people were waiting for waffles and it takes 2 1/2 minutes to make one, which can be time consuming when you have to get to the ball field by a certain time. I loved that snacks and bottled water was available in the front lobby for free. Helped having a snack while sitting at the field since the concession stand did not offer much during the games. Our room was clean and any towels/rags needed they were brought to us or left in our room while we were gone! Washer/dryers work great, we had to use those a few times washing uniforms for games. You're near shopping/restaurants as well if you turn to the right leaving the hotel! I enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we're in the area.

I was charged $42.20 on a card that was not used at the property and was only used to hold the room. I called the hotel and the poor excuse for an "AGM" Grace was less than helpful, borderline argumentative and has yet to be resolved. She blames the reservations side for charging me, but told me to have my bank call her and she would give them an authorization code to release this hold for an amount that no one can seem to give me an explanation for seeing as the incidental hold is only $20. The hotel is run down and old. They only have one person working the desk at a time. This should not be a Marriott name. If you look below, as of 6/29/2022 you can see that "Front Desk Pinehurst" created their own 5-star review of their own property and service.. That should tell you about what you need to know.

I travel a lot and had a long day when I made my plans (Marriott Ambassador). I called in and Darrelle was nice enough to recommend a great dinner spot Ironwood Cafe, the place was packed at 5pm and I suggest you get a reservation with a party of 2 or more and the info for the restaurant is under the dining tab on the Marriott Dinning tab on the app. The hotel is dirty and run down, the trash can was full last night and again this morning. Room was dirty and no conditioner in the bathroom. I would look at other options in the future.
