Great park for older kids, but the play equipment and open water feature are unsafe for toddlers.

Nice shading around the creek itself from the trees. Never very crowded. The flow in the creek is slow enough that algae can grow in it. It may be less of an issue during the winter when there is more upstream current to feed the creek. Insects tend to be an issue as well.

Small neighborhood park without a lot of amenities but it has pretty much everything you would need... It's nice to have a green space like this in a neighborhood. Good place to take your kids or your dogs or your dog's kids.... Whatever. Always in very good shape,,,clean,,, the city does a great job with this. Bring a picnic and just get out of the house or your own space for a bit.

One of our favorite parks!! Huge trees for shade. Great Creek that's not too deep. Playground. Swings.bathrooms. pavilion. We love it!!! There's no parking lot, you just park around the park.
