I began renting a home managed by Mynd over 5 weeks ago. Since day #1, the over/range has not worked, even though it was promised in the contract. Since bringing it to their attention, they’ve sent two people out to look at it, both have said they need to replace it because the part is on back order and it will take too long to arrive. Low and behold, They claim to be “escalating” the claim but still no fixes. I’ve also asked for discounts on months rent since I’m forced to eat out more and they ignore the questions. Completely unprofessional and I wish I could break the lease without financial penalty. Beware!

Horrible. I could write an essay about how mismanaged this company is. I would never recommend renting from this company to anyone. Mynd proved time and time again to be unprofessional, unresponsive, and negligent. Honestly, it felt like I was renting from a slumlord. My entire experience was exploitative and in some aspects, illegal.

This is by far the worst property rental company I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. 4 months later and I still haven’t received my deposit. If you enjoy never seeing your money again, getting mediocre responses, and hate yourself enough to not looking at the bad reviews, this is the place for you. Take joy in knowing the second you move out you don’t mean anything to them. Have fun with the regret people I’m sure they’ll give it to you in spades.

If you’re a property owner, I would encourage you to go with ANY other management company over Mynd. They botched multiple elements — badly — including our personal move out (before tenants came in) where no one showed up, as promised, to collect the keys and install a lockbox. Mynd absolutely does not care or make the extra effort to care for your property. A terrible experience all the way around. Beware.
