***Skip Story to basic review in bottom portion*** This may have been a blessing or a curse, I’ll let you decide. Our spooky adventure began with my friend yelping scary events in our area. She found “HorrorWorld”. I’m more on the conservative side when it comes to haunts, I enjoy being startled in creative ways or just having the overall theme being something cool or unique rather than being “Tortured”. My friends and I went all out and bought the 3 maze combo online. (Even though I was hesitant about the price at first -$45- due to non-commercial haunts being either too dull or too extreme) ...This year the mazes were hosted at the Puente Hills Mall. We arrived and the place was DEAD (Not is the fun Halloween way). I literally think we were the only group there! Let me just say that it was Sunday so maybe that’s the reason. I felt weird about being the only victims at first, but it was kinda cool because we were like V.I.P’s... We signed our first waver (It’s more for the business side of things rather than you literally signing your life away) and then we crushed our first maze! It was very interactive. The actors actually talk to you and overall, it was great. The second maze AND our second waver (I believe that this particular maze is independently run and not officially part of “Horrorworld”). It ended up being my personal favorite as it involved us having to really interact with the actors and that was something I appreciated. We did have an awkward exchange with the ticket stamper/waver guy in the beginning. He basically handed us the form and walked away without saying a word or giving us directions, then he showed up 5min later to show us where to wait. Some actors decided to pay us a visit while we waited and they seemed bored. One repeatedly knocked my baseball cap off with a foam pipe thing and that got old fast. Suffice it to say, it was my LEAST favorite wait. The 3rd maze was the solo maze. I wasn’t thrilled by the concept at first, but it was pretty enjoyable! I also feel like this was the longest maze. Going through the maze alone adds another layer to the maze that is pretty cool. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Quality wise I’d say that each maze really utilize the space. Each maze took us around 10min. We were the only ones in the place so the only “Wait” we had was for the actors to get into their positions. It was a tiny bit of a morale killer for sure but I’ll let it slide because I’m assuming that it was just a very very very slow night for the actors. Because there was no crowd, we completed all 3 mazes and walked the small vender space in about 45min! I’d say that this haunt is pretty creative, especially with the short interactive parts. I would definitely recommend this haunt.

I couldn't believe that they were able to have so much inside one store! The vendors have amazing work that they made by hand and at great prices! The staff is very friendly and the creator is always walking around to make sure that everyone is having fun and things are running smoothly. The details in each maze are incredible and the scare actors really commit to their roles. I like how they have an option to buy tickets to each maze separately since I didn't want to go to ITB by myself. I would definitely come back!

Super fun! Scary, creepy and downright terrifying! Psycho Sanatarium is insane! Look out for the shoe! Fleshyard gets me everytime! And into the black is what nightmares are truly made of! It forces you to look fear in the eyes and and take a step into the black! The vendor area is filled with a eclectic assortment of art, toys, clothing and dont forget the Rad coffee! Try the brainzzz you will not regret it! Great fun and great scares. Come take a look... if you dare!

Of course! We don’t recommend the mazes for anyone under 13 BUT it’s totally up to the parents. Anyone under 18 and unaccompanied by a parent must be inside of Horrorworld before 10pm due to curfew laws in Rowland Heights/City of Industry.
Enter through the Round 1 Arcade outdoor entrance, go through Round 1 and into the mall. Horrorworld is inside of the Puente Hills Mall to the left of Round 1.
