What impressed me most are the CNAs, their teamwork and camaraderie. I could see how they helped each other, how pleasant and attentive they were to the needs of my husband who is a Vietnam Vet, Natosha in the morning, Kimberly and Girlie in the afternoon. Kimberly is a natural caring person, who made my husband smile, laugh and relaxed. Girlie was very helpful, attentive and encouraged my husband to get better. Irene, Devina, Jay and Russel attended to my husband, too, completing the team with efficiency. I thank Joe for the ice cream on Fridays. To Elvie, Rolly and Marcie, thank you for the complimentary dinners. Melissa, the Case Manager was very pleasant and helpful; although I think she needs an assistant. To all of the therapists, although you told me that my husband was not cooperating, I thank you for giving your time.

The building is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully appointed and make you feel like home and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is awesome and cares about your needs. Walter and the kitchen staff are fantastic. No one likes everything but most of his meals are so good I eat everything! I have to give a shout out to Jenessa in housekeeping who always has a wonderful pleasant attitude and does a great job keeping thing clean. All the CNA’s and nurses are great and pay attention to your needs, but I have to single out Emily. She gets to know you and does things for you before you can ask. She is my favorite person. Then I have to mention Melissa, the case worker. She works so hard to make sure that everyone one is treated with courtesy care even when there are a problem. She truly looks for the humanity in people. Most of all Is Yvette. I met her when I toured the facility before my knee replacement. I was looking for the best place for my rehab since I was in a horrible place the first time. I was so impressed with everything about the facility and formed an immediate friendship with her. When we had to postpone the surgery she said don’t worry, just let me know when you reschedule and I will have a bed for you. When I found out I had colon cancer and they scheduled surgery I called her and she said if you want to come back here I will make sure I have a bed for you! I felt like I was coming home to people that really cared about me!!!!!
