Experienced poor food service and room smoke alarm going off in middle of the night. We had to pack and move rooms. Staff not willing to provide any credit towards room cost.

Stayed for a concert at the Hollywood bowl. 10 minute walk! Great location to a number of other LA must sees. The room on the 11th floor was very basic but clean. One thing to note, do not follow the signs to the underground parking. It is a mess and eventually you will be so frustrated. There are signs for Hotel Valet, there are no valets. For the real valet you will need to attempt to leave, pay money for parking you did not do and go to the front of the hotel. In short, just use the Hotel Valet and not the parking garage.

Hi. I do not remember the price, but it was around $200 per night for a room for 2 adults and 1 child. The good thing about the place is that its 5 mins from Universal studios by car and its about 1 mins from the Hollywood blvd (Chinese theater, stars on the sidewalk, etc...) by walk.
You have the Walk of Fame to see all the Stars. You also have the Chinese Theater, Dolby Theater and The Captain where you watch some movies aswell. You can purchase a TMZ tour from inside the Hard Rock Cafe. You also have many other tours that leave from the walk of fame. If you desire you can do the Paramount Pictures tour which is about 15 min away from the Loews hotel.
The $20 a day is for food and beverage. I'm not aware of being able to use it to pay down your resort fee. If that is what you're asking.
Honestly, it's a lot safer than you'd expect. I just spent multiple nights alone here as a 5 ft tall female and I had no issues being out on Hollywood Blvd regardless of time of day.
Burbank airport is the closest. LAX is bigger and about double the distance

The shower floor is even with the bathroom floor so a wheelchair can access easily.
I think it may be $50 a day. In terms of senior discount i would call to confirm. I am sure u can work out a deal. Discounts may vary
You'll be on your feet a lot at Universal. Take an Uber or taxi.

There is a small mall connected to Loews with a few stores and restaurants, and then you have a bunch of stores and restaurants right along Hollywood Blvd

Nope but plenty of places around. Great cafe next door.
