What a fantastic experience! We did the princess train and with Anna Aurora and Snow White showing up and spending significant time with not just my child but with all the children as well as a enjoyable train ride. This is definitely something that I would do again

We took our grandkids on the train ride. We had a blast. We stayed at Summit Grove and had fun hearing the train whistle. I love that there is so much to do in the area.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony on a train car here on 2-22-22. The staff was absolutely AMAZING! From day 1 with getting everything scheduled, tour to finalize plans, doing anything and everything we needed to help make sure it went smoothly on our big day. The nicest group of people you could ever meet. I highly recommend checking out their excursions and museum as well. I haven't done an excursion yet but plan to soon.

We went on the fall foliage excursion, and we all loved it! We brought a group of my bfs family and all sat together. (You have to buy tickets in advance and choose the seats). It was my first time on a train, so I was really excited! The …

No there's nothing fancy like that. there is an ice cream truck when they get to the Final Destination. There's a guy telling you about the history. With the civilwar and Lincoln Gettysburg address and stuff
They have different prices you have to click on day you want then event then it will tell you the price per person (all this on website) not fb
The train ride is a scenic restored steam engine and cars. When we went last month, the "first" car was open air, and the other two were not. These are are 1890s vintage, or there about, and enclosed car have windows and plenty of air. The train changes direction at the end of the line so first/last doesn't really apply. There is also a pretty good walking and biking path along the tracks and the train stopped once to allow premium riders off for an included lunch at Capitan Bill's (I think that's what the restaurant was called). Ride is about 45 minutes note including the lunch. Recommend.
Yes and next to the tracks too
No they do not have restrooms on the train, restrooms are at the train station
See the website
You can sit anywhere you like on the train. But it is best to reserve your seats/tickets in advance.
As i recall the round trip to Hanover Junction was about 45.min each way with about a 30 min stop at the Junction. So figure a couple of hours total.
