(Writing about Methadone program) Place saved my life. Counselors are all great and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. If you have an addiction and want a new start, a chance at life, you can get that at Beacon. I've been on the suboxone program there as well, they are just as good honestly

Good staff there they r great people esp my counselor and the office staff only thing I don't like is the long lines and wait just to dose they need either two dosing lines or people that get more than a weeks worth of methadone there should b a specific time that they can only come like after everyone else gets there one dose lol other than that it's a great placev

It gives people another chance at life.

The Staff here are wonderful people and most of them truly care and are willing to work with you to provide the correct level of treatment you need. I'm speaking about the Methadone program however. The suboxone program had a couple problems unfortunately. There was one man, a counselor who I saw a few times, who actually ended up doing my recovery more harm than good because of his arrogance and unwillingness to listen whenever I tried explaining my problems to him. Luckily I switched programs. The actual program is great though. You are bound to get a counselor in any outpatient program who believes they know everything. It's unfortunate but it happens.

Yes
I don't think so but they can get u a referral to get into chubbs or the neiborhood center the only medicine they give u there is methadone they have counselors there for mental health though but no mental health meds cuz I'm on mental health meds and they never gave me any or offered me to do scripts or anything there so ur best bet is just call chubbs honestly to set up a appointment
Any questions about insurances or clinic hours or take homes etc SHOULD BE ASKED DIRECTLY TO THE CLINIC STAFF BECAUSE THINGS CHANGE and you're going to get the LATEST,MOST CORRECT INFORMATION DIRECTLY FROM THEM .I RECOMMEND CALLING OR OF YOU'RE A PATIENT SPEAKING WITH YOUR COUNSELOR. When dealing with something SERIOUSLY IMPORTANT THAT CAN POTENTIALLY AFFECT YOUR METHADONE STATUS ITS JUST A SAFER BETTER IDEA TO HAVE DEFINITIVE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS..** SIDE NOTE** I've been a hero on addict for 30+ years and have been on suboxone on& off and methadone twice 15 years ago. I WASNT really honest with myself about wanting recovery. Basically was just using them in addition to heroin .In 2013 I Came to my"bottom".Lost EVERYTHING I EVER Loved lost my 3 kids, marriage my career as a nurse,my home to Homeless&injecting anywhere YES EVEN under bridges.I was FINALLY ready&truly wanted recovery. BEEN ON METHADONE 6 yrs now,IT'S💯 SAVED MY LIFE!NOT ALWAYS EASY,BUT GET THRU W/O PICKING UP!🙂
