I stayed here one night location was great the rooms were clean but not fancy (it's a motel) pet fee was minimal, breakfast left a little to be desired. Clearly people in Illinois don't know how to make sausage gravy for biscuits but it's ok I can forgive a northerner for a breakfast blunder of this caliber. Over all 4 stars

Made booking through AAA, prepaid. Hotel couldn't find my booking, lied to me, tried to put me in a smoking room, then CHARGED ME for my PREPAID ROOM. Currently working through AAA to get them to refund. Tried to get in touch with owner when I discovered they had charged me. Me: "When will the owner be in?" Clerk: [laughing] "Oh, he's REALLY hard to track down, I NEVER know when he's going to be here." They will steal your money. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Positive: Overall the experience was good. It is an older hotel and shows those signs like cracks in the ceilings and stained tub. But it went well. Negative: Where I was placed was right next to the custodial staff station and it kept me up. There was lots of vacancies so I could of been somewhere else. It was hard to sleep because of the talking.
