The best service you could ever ask for and the best shrimp pizza boy I’ve ever had! 100% will be making the trip here every time I’m in NOLA. This came highly recommended by the locals and I am so happy they shared this gem with us!

The best shrimp po boy I've ever had in my life!! The people that work there are also amazing, they make you feel like you're at home

*Update*: I saw the owners response to my review, and I updated the score to 5. I appreciate them understanding my concern (that I thought I paid for food that I didn't get), and following up on it to alleviate my confusion. It shows they care a good amount about their customers. The Shrimp Po Boy was very good! Probably the best I've had in the city so far (I've had Shrimp Po Boys in 2 other places). Also probably the least messiest of them all to eat (though, still a bit messy; it just isn't overly soaked in sauce like other places). *Old part of review that doesn't apply anymore*: I mainly docked a point because I remember ordering fries with my meal, but when I picked up my order, they claimed I didn't have fries, and that I need to pay for them. I didn't like that I would have to pay for my fries twice, so this kind of dampened my experience. Still I would go again, but maybe make sure I get (or check) my receipt. It's also very likely that the person taking the order missed that I asked for fries.

There are a lot of po-boy options in New Orleans and I’d say Domilise is good but it’s around average and fairly expensive - a bit of a tourist trap. That’s not bad, and we enjoyed it, but the history and environment definitely make up a lot of the experience and most of the hype in my opinion. You can likely get a similar meal and experience for less.

Not a typical thing that people want to eat around. Maybe leave it at home.
Walk if you have to. It's worth it.
Domilises is a traditional neighborhood joint in New Orleans. Food is great, prices are fair and everybody is welcome. It don't matter how young, you will never be embarrassed nor intimidated, just good local people.
