I went into this post office for the first time ever after living in Oregon for over 20 years. I went in there to put in for a first time passport, it was not busy which was nice and right away walking in a very friendly staff member greeted me as if I was coming into his home :-) as I went through the process several of the workers asked me about where I was planning to go and helped me thoroughly through the process, all while being very nice, considerate, respectful and down to earth very nice people. Honestly, I felt like I had gone to their home and I think them very much for such great service. Most of the government establishments that I have to go in, workers are extremely rude and unhelpful and the experiences have been terrible where I have left and said nothing but bad things about these places. Before I left the tangent post office, I complemented all the workers there and told them what a great experience I had and I thanked them very much for being so kind and nice instead of rude and lazy. Government workers and state workers get paid an absorbent amount of money in most cases, there’s no reason for them to be rude and disrespectful or lazy to anybody In my opinion. I really appreciated the people in this post office and hopefully one day I will get to talk with them again. I’ve never met a better staff at a government or state office in my entire life than the one at tangent Oregon post office! I would gladly drive hours to go to this post office to get this kind of service. Growing up this kind of service was very normal for me in the past but somehow overtime customer service has been put on the last of the list for most businesses, and as I said before people are usually very rude and unhelpful. I was so thankful I had a great experience, thank you very much to the post office in tangent Oregon and the staff there.
