I will NEVER be a Progressive customer. A Progressive customer hit my house and it took them 2 months of accusing me of lying and embellishing damage to get a payout that wasn’t even fair. They are sleazy and insensitive. I felt like I was the person that hit someone’s house. Terrible experience and I can guarantee you that Progressive is not a company you want to deal with in any capacity.

If I could zero stars would. The customer service is horrendous, on average I have to wait on call for 2 hours to talk with a human. Dont even get me started with billing. They are constantly change prices no matter what time you are in your 6 month coverage and tell you last minute about changes to your account that you never asked for. Also god forbid you ever get in an accident. After being a customer for over 15 years you would think that they would cover my end being that I have almost a perfect driving record. But instead they reward the other party who has multiple tickets related to being an irresponsible driver, poor driver record, and didn't even have insurance at the time the accident occurred. Progressive is selfish, greedy company who only concern is keeping money in their own pockets not the customers. They do not hire people who actually care or know what is going on with your account or concerns. Multiple time they have asked me to provide additional info related to claims, billing, and other details they they should already have, if they keep good records or had good team communication. But instead you have to repeat yourself over and over again. They will also never return you calls unless you call the main office that is servicing you. And good luck hunting that down, since they often would thru third party companies to provide services. This being probably the largest mistake they can make as a company. What ever you do, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE. seriously this is you warning

Buyer Beware. I have terminated my homeowners,car and boat policy with progressive. This company will not repair your home correctly if you have a claim. There company policy is to repair ceilings that have a knockdown texture with a patch in the middle of a main living space. The correct way this should be done is to patch the drywall and retexture all of the ceiling so the repaired area can not be seen. This is one way of cutting corners for them to save money. If you are thinking or buying Progressive Insurance I would not recommend it.

If in need of a person on the phone to assist, good luck, plan on minimal 1 to 2 hrs for tow assistance. Phone recordings constant
