I decided to make the hour trip here today on a recommendation, and I’m sure glad I did. As with any new place or experience, you don’t know where to go or how things exactly work. These people take all the time and effort to explain everything, answer all questions, and even stop by the shooting bays to ask if you’re enjoying the park and if you need anything. They are professional, and it’s obvious they take the rules seriously, which makes for a safe place to enjoy some free time.

Best experience on our roadtrip through the US by far. We spend a whole day at the range. Shot handguns, automatic rifles, clay pigeon and an amazing 0.5 caliber rifle. The guys were very helpful and experienced. It was our first time and they explained everything very carefully. We had a blast (pun intended)! I highly recommend everyone to go here. Best and biggest clay pigeon sporting round I have ever seen. Same for the rifle range (up to 1000 yards).

Word-class range. We came all the way from Belgium and researched plenty before picking Dead Zero. One of the best days out in the last few years. The range is massive and offers lots of variation from pistol bay to a 1000 yard rifle range, archery and clay shooting. The rifle range has full digital tracking and the range as a whole is very modern and up to date. The clay shooting is very diverse from woods to open field. You get to use a golf cart to drive between them. The gents working there are very knowledgeable and welcoming. Learned about the history of some guns and got plenty of food tips for our trip on top. Super friendly people. Highly recommended!!!

One of the best sporting clay ranges I’ve been too. Scenery is beautiful and the stations are set up to give you unique challenges. …David, thank you for the wonderful review! We are lucky to have both amazing staff and patrons. We look forward to seeing you and your group back. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your next visit even more enjoyable.

Anything from .17HMR to .50BMG. not sure about stuff like.600 & .700 big game calibers. UPDATE!!! the 1000 yard range is finally open to the public! Only on the weekends for now as they finish up. Call first because a lot of people are interested
No reservations are needed. Feel free to stop by any time
That is correct. We have 50 yards open now, and the 1k range will feature distances between 100-1,000 yards and will open June 2018. As of now, there are no other ranges in the area that are open to the public that offer the long range distances that you are looking for. We are thrilled to be able to bring this service to the area.
Yes we are. We will be open for normal business hours of 9am-5pm
Yes we do. We have a wide variety of firearms to rent for use on all of our ranges

Dead Zero elected not to hold the Steel Challenge State Championship this year due to the uncertainty created by COVID. I am unsure if the event was picked up by another facility. Our plan is to have the event back for 2022, but that hasn't been confirmed as of yet
Yes! Both are welcome at Dead Zero! We also have similar guns for rent!
Absolutely! Each bay has multiple lanes for multiple shooters. You can shoot all day in the bays for $20
Hi Josh! We have many rifles to rent, including a 50cal!! We also have plenty of pistols and shotguns to try out too. Our ProShop has everything you need for a day out on the range, so you don't have to bring anything from home.
Hi Jerry! We'd be happy to help you out with that for $10
While we don't have a specific bay for 22lr, any of our pistol bays allow for 22lr shooting. We have paper and steel static and reactive targets set up in our eight bays
Great Range but for archery needs ask for J.D. at Outdoor Junction in Cookeville.
Terrell, Thanks for asking! We planted 12+ acres of browntop millet in May that we couldn't get to grow. We are working with an expert right now to figure out why we couldn't get any millet to grow. Because we couldn't get the food for our Dove field to grow we are looking into our options for a Dove hunt to see if we can ensure a quality hunt for our members. The hunt will most likely be the third Saturday in September. We will let everyone know what our expert we have gone to says about another way to ensure a quality hunt and officially confirm the date. We haven't given up on it yet but it sure hasn't been easy to make a quality dove field! Thank you for your patience.
