Waited in line for two hours two weeks ago to get truck re-registered in Kansas. Yes re-registered. An employee told me that if you are in the military present LES and Orders or a signed letter from Commander and we don’t have to pay the full price. I told her I was in the Oklahoma National guard and she said it did not matter. Bring in one of the items listed on the wall. Today I went back in with my commanders letter and a different employee told it was not good enough because I am in the Oklahoma guard. I asked why was the form good enough to register my truck but not re-register? I was then told to take my truck to Oklahoma and register it. This was after i was accused by another employee that I forged my military CAC signature. No consistency. Why do we have to go through this kind of stuff?

A women named Jordan helped me and she was by far the most polite and calm person even with the rush that was going on even with hang ups on getting my truck tagged she did amazing at resolving the issue and was definitely quick and professional! If you have a title in hand and the vehicle is safe to drive, you have 30 days from the date the title has been sign by both parties... But you should contact veh.reg to "CYA"

Bring your drivers license, proof of insurance and old registration to the treasurers office at 300 Walnut in Leavenworth. Make sure you get on line and do an address change for your license if it has changed. Print the change of address out and bring it too.

You have to go to the Driver's license building off Delaware, not the courthouse on Walnut.
