I was helped immediately on walking by a nice young lady who understood my distress and did my interview right there on the spot and everything finished up in about 20 minutes. I went in stressed out and downright depressed but left with a big smile on my face and a tremendous amount of that stress relieved. 🙂

I applied for Medicaid. Was told I don't qualify, I'm 65 and on social security. She said we don't count any other bills paid out but rent or house payments and utilities. How poor do you have to be anymore. And at 12,000 dollars I only get $19 in food stamps. I have a lot of medical conditions that require $300 copays. I don't have that kind of money. As they see it I have $700 extra monthly. I'm done complaining now
