They won't answer the phone at all. I was recently there 4 different times because they couldn't figure out the titles for my vehicle registration. I even overheard them say they've been instructed to not answer the phones and they can't get any new hires since covid happened. Only 2 people are handling all appointments.

You will need to fill out form 2769 and have your doctor sign it. Then take the form to DMV and pay a $2.00 fee. You can find the form online.

You can get a temporary ID and they will mail you the new ID. You'll need 2 forms of identification such as a ID, social security card (I think you can provide your SSN verbally also), birth certificate. You'll need at least 1 proof of residency (bills, postcard from the DMV stating your ID needs renewed, full list of acceptable documents is on the DMV website.) But 2 proofs of residency is alot better so you can get the "Real ID" that complies with federal laws for flying ect, that will be required by 2023 any ways. 1 document will work for now but in 2023 you will have to get it replaced again so save yourself the time and money and bring 2 proofs of residency. And the cost was $29 dollars using debit card it was just over $30. Hope this helps.

maybe, inspections are needed only if the vehicle is greater then 10 years old or have greater then 150 thousand miles... UNLESS... they are titled under a different state. doesn't matter where you bought it but it does matter the state on the title. my daughter sat up there for 2 hours to learn this. she bought it in Missouri but it was titled in Michigan.

They do take cards, but they charge a small fee for using cards.

No. You can save time by downloading the QLess app and looking for the office. It tells you your position in line and 'estimated' wait time. Best to be there from atleast when it tells you 20 mins left incase others ahead of u leave the queue early

Yes it is, they are really busy. You can sign in and leave, they will text you every 15 minutes and let you know how close to the front of the line you are. I signed in at 9:30 am, and got finished at 2:30 pm. FYI 😁

Use QLess to make an appointment from home

People might give correct answers to this, but to be absolutely sure, I'd recommend just heading in and asking or emailing your license office. You might have to give up some hours but this is a situation where your better off playing it safe than running the risk of being misinformed by the random public.

It is all by appointment, every 15 min they call all the appointments and then if there is extra time they call work in list. It took me 3 days, 5+ hours each day to get in

Go up there an hour b4 they open. They will get you in faster than an appt. There will be a wait but they will get you in. Make sure you have a few hours on your hands. Hope this helps.

You can not take your driver's license test there. The sales tax is price x 4.225%. The registration/plate cost depends on the kind of car it is. You will need to call the license office.

Not that I know of ...BUT I highly recommend the Qless phone app! It lets you see current wait time and lets you sign in to reserve a spot. You can then head to the office or run am errand if you have enough time. You can monitor and add time if you are not ready.
