Tyler came to our house one evening and explained what solar would do for us in the future. What he Did fail to tell us is what our electric company would do if we had extra electric he made it sound I'd we had extra it could be used in the future I'd we ran short one month mainly summertime..The truth is if you do not use the extra in 30 days you lose the electric and the electric company will sell that and profit when I was called and told that I called Tyler to ask about that it was a day before install he got mad because I told him I would.not install and give the electric company free electricity . The night we signed papers we have bad internet at our house and had trouble getting the papers to come up on his laptop and our phones.I gave Tyler a check for $14,300 when I told him I was not going to install he has refused to give my money back and this has been going on for almost a year now and will not answer my calls now.

I would add a sixth star if it would let me! The entire process was outstanding. I vetted through 7+ companies before Tyler (Owner) made a proposal I couldn’t refuse. The equipment is top notch. The installers that arrived was super fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. When you call (day or night) you actually get to talk to a person, which for me is a huge plus. I will only refer Barrett Solar to anybody interested in going solar!

I chose Barrett because they were knowledgeable, organized and lower cost than the other quotes I received. In addition they spoke to me about all of the options for financing and discussed how we could best layout my system and the predicted savings I would receive. The project took 6 weeks from the day I signed to the final inspection. The only thing I am waiting on now is evergy to come sign off so we can flip the on switch and start saving. Tyler was excellent to work with and very responsive to my questions as the project progressed. I was so impressed that I even recommended him to several of my friends one of which has already signed and is going to start saving money on energy too. I highly recommend this company.

I have a signed contract with this company to install solar on my roof and have not heard a word from them in over five months, despite reaching out to them multiple times on every platform available. My best guess is they are out of business.

Depends on your usage and what your goals are! Every situation is a little bit different. We do however, give the best prices in the area. I'd love to take a look at your situation and determine if solar is a good fit for you or not.
No. When you buy solar panels from Barrett Solar, you're the owner.
As stated before, solar panel installation in Missouri typically costs between $15,000-20,000 before any rebates or discounts. After all rebates and discounts, the average first year total cash outlay is roughly $10,000.
Yes. This depends on how much roof space your home has, how much monthly power you use, and how much sunlight your house gets on a yearly basis. Most homes in the Midwest have enough roof space to provide energy for the whole house, oftentimes, you can generate excess power which can be sold back or saved for later use.
Yes! Solar is becoming more and more popular for one very good reason – IT WORKS! Solar power is still relatively new for homeowners. You may not know anyone using solar panels yet, because only in recent years has the price become more manageable. With that said, we’ve been using solar power in many different industries for years.
Hi, yes we do. All of our specifics can be found here https://barrettsolar.com/request-quote/
You don’t need to do very much. The biggest issues are simply dust, debris, leaves etc covering the panels and reducing the power generated. This is obviously a simple fix of keeping the panels cleared.
Your solar system can still draw power even on cloudy days. Depending on the level of cloudiness, your system can draw as much as 90% power or as little as 10%. At night, you won’t be generating very much power at all.

The solar installer will come out and measure your roof and check the shape of the roof to determine what is best.
