After a few years of being a loyal customer, moving on. I'm on vacation and lost my RX sunglasses. Called to get my prescription so I could pick up a cheap pair until I get home and was going to order better ones with Plantation when I got home. The lady on the line said she couldn't tell me the prescription over the phone due to HIPAA. So I asked if she could text it to me or email it to me instead since that's all on file and also matches the info with my insurance company and how I schedule every apt. She said no. Every doctor I have whether a dentist or primary I have the ability to login and see all my past history. Yet Visionworks is behind on times and doesn't have this capability and couldn't help me when I was out of town so I was able to actually see in the daylight. Maybe this is the way they hold patients as hostages. I went to the Chatanooga location instead and they were incredibly helpful. Dr. Porter should find a better office to be attached to. Thankfully Chatanooga saved the day but this "Visionworks" aka surely didn't help my vision work out of town. After referring them SEVERAL new patients, time to move on to someone with better technology and not someone to leave me hanging not able to see. Kind of a big deal.

Sorry I can't give you an answer but I can tell you this I will never go to Visionworks again they are horrible people I've never been treated so horribly in my life I can only say this for something that took approximately 1 minute 30 seconds I had to wait around for 2 hours and 45 minutes after explaining my situation and having an appointment this is horrible and I will probably never go there again
Yes but if something happens to your frame they won't be responsible for it.
You can walk in. Sometimes they are busy though, so you may want to call ahead.
No, but give a $10.00 Discount. Medicare does not cover Eye exams or glasses
