It was great to return to the park I grew up with. The Noris family donated land, my friends the McMullen family donated land and some others, and they have turned this into an awesome free walking park. Dogs allowed on leashes, bring poop bags though. There were plenty of fur faces bringing their people for a 4th July walk today. Everyone was friendly. There is a dedication board to read about the history of the park at the beginning of the trails. I saw 1 picnic table after you cross the wooden bridge, parking lot gets filled quickly but you can walk across the street, park at the norwell post office which is safer to unload kids/dogs instead of the street. Plenty of benches, natural rocks, rivers to rest at. My sisters & I used to skate on this in the winter, all our friends came down to do the walks, meeting up at the boat house where you get a great view of the river that leads down to Scituate harbor. It's a place to come and gather your thoughts, explore nature with your family, regain your inner peace. Highly recommended.
