I have always had great meals here. We both got the chicken and shrimp rice bowls, which were delicious. I always love their seasonal white wine sangria, and this summer's watermelon sangria didn't disappoint. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very attentive.

We were visiting for the weekend and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. We were one of 4 tables total in the entire restaurant and the service was terrible. It took forever to order a drink (water) and we were never checked on to refill our drinks. When we ordered, my husband got the ahi tuna poke bowl and I got a small Cesar salad and a cup of clam chowder. I am born and raised in New England and what they were trying to pass off as clam chowder was disgusting. It was curdled and extremely salty. The Cesar lettuce was old and rotten and the croutons stale, while the dressing was oozing and oily drowning the lettuce. The poke bowl my husband ordered was not fresh. The tuna was grainy and old. We will not ever be visiting again.

Every time we visit Boston we always make sure we always go to NYAJ. It is always a great place to eat and super friendly staff. We crave the bread and oil/garlic/parmesan dipping . This time however the food was ok, not as great as it used to be sadly. The Mangoes on my plate and daughters plate were not ripe at all and hard as a rock, they actually gave a bitter taste to it. The pizza good but too "bready" and the kids pasta was ok. The restaurant was also extremely hot, unsure if AC wasn't working or simply the table we were sitting at near window (even with blinds shut). We will go back next time we are in town to visit as it was still good and we perhaps just got a bad day. As always staff was super friendly .

The food service was fantastic the wait staff were helpful, the outdoor dining has wonderful views. The food itself was very good I had a fish and chips and lemonade. There were a lot of bees hanging around the patio so if your allergic you may wish to dine indoors
