"5 STAR" is the best and only way to describe this charming resort in the SoCal desert.. Amenities for every traveler. Golf , swimming , boat rides, spa treatment, luxury dining and much much more! JW Marriott.... Nothing compares to Marriotts 'luxury' when it comes to vacationing.

Absolutely does not live up to being a “luxury” hotel. This feels like a regular Marriott. Rooms are smaller with no fridge, pillows are cotton rather than feather, and bathroom isn’t well maintained (faucet almost falling off the shower wall). Also some parts of the hotel don’t even open on time, like the Entertainment Zone.

Food and drinks are extra
Both the spa and the gym are open to the public. It's one the great things about this resort. I hope you find this helpful. Enjoy your time there.
Bo, that would be the north wing for best view of mountains.
Not as a hotel guest. You need your room key card to access.
There is a coffee/tea set up by the cup. Similar to a keurig with out pods. They restock everyday There is a mini fridge No microwave in the room
I saw golf clubs for rent, however, I would call and reserve them with the concierge in advance of arrival as it's a very well attended golf course location.
I was a guess
Yes you can. But you need to bring your own cables.

If you like mexican food Guierrmos is awesome in Palm Desert
No
I'm not sure. I think the standard room with a king bed was what we got too. It was a nice room! I'm sure you can call the hotel and ask them before booking.
They do not have jet ski rentals. They have a motorcycle rental store.
I would check their website or Facebook page .
They are free and open to the public. They are mostly used to take people to the restaurants. Consider taking a ride, enjoying a meal, and leaving a tip. It's very pleasant.
No. It only runs at specific times during the day/evening and makes a loop throughout the ground floor of the hotel where there aren't any rooms.
Is there an indoor pool?
It doesn't look like any of the restaurants will have a specific Thanksgiving dinner, but you would be able to eat at any of them. See https://www.marriott.com/hotel-info/ctdca-jw-marriott-desert-springs-resort-and-spa/restaurants/di3khfx/home-page.mi for more information.
I was there for a professional conference Sunday through Tuesday. There was a breakfast buffet. I don't remember seeing or hearing about a Sunday Brunch.
Mikado is a typical Japanese steakhouse. It was good. We didn't have a great experience at fisherman's landing. Sushi bar in lobby. Decent..
It's around $28 - $30

It varies on when you plan on visiting and what kind of room you want. Go look on their website.
